A forward-thinker obsessed with customer service, Cassandra (Cassie to those who know her) brings more than two decades of lending experience to her role. A born leader, she has spent much of her career focused on building teams that prioritize providing great service while helping clients navigate the home loan process.
While she enjoys streamlining the lending process, she’s never lost her passion for working directly with borrowers. It’s almost as if the position of Mortgage Team Leader was made for Cassie. “I love working with customers, but what I truly enjoy is the critical thinking that mortgages require. When I saw this opportunity at Citizens State Bank, I knew it was the right fit for me.”
Cassie takes pride in helping clients improve their financial situations through homeownership. Whether working with first-time homebuyers or homeowners looking to refinance or upgrade, she believes in using a home’s value as a financial tool to reduce debt and lower monthly payments. She understands that rent and high-interest debt can hold people back, and if a client has an asset that can give them a better rate or lower payment, she’ll do everything she can to help them make a change.
She understands that buying a home can feel overwhelming, and offers the following advice to make the process easier:

- Save and budget, and finally
- Get pre-qualified before you start house hunting.
“You want to make sure you're not getting in over your head with a payment. And most importantly, trust your lender to guide you through the process.”
Outside of work, Cassie stays busy with her family, especially her teenage son, Cody, who’s active in cross country and swimming for Yorktown High School. “Most of my hobbies involve chauffeuring Cody, and I wouldn't have it any other way!"
