Citizens Women's Connection - Carmel

Wednesday, November 5 | 8:00 - 9:15 am

Join us Wednesday, November 5 to hear from Larissa Warne, longtime volunteer and advocate with Brooke’s Place for Grieving Children. Larissa will share how Brooke’s Place empowers young people and their families to heal and thrive through loss.

We’ll also be collecting items for the organization’s Holiday Store – “Gifts for the Caregiver.”

About Our Speaker: Larissa Warne

Larissa Warne, a smiling woman with short blond hair and glasses, wearing a light pink blouse and cream jacket, seated in front of a purple abstract painting and a small plant.
Larissa Warne became part of the Brooke’s Place family in 2002 as a volunteer facilitator. She continued her volunteer journey for the next 15 years, fulfilling a variety of roles and was honored to have a seat on the board of directors and to serve a term as board chair. In 2017, Larissa joined the Brooke’s Place staff as a member of the advancement team, raising critical funds and awareness on the subject of childhood grief. Her Brooke’s Place journey has come full circle as she is back to serving Brooke’s Place in a volunteer capacity while enjoying spending time with her grandchildren and learning the game of golf.

About Brooke's Place:
